Prof. Adipala Ekwamu, Editor-in-Chief
Professor Adipala Ekwamu is the Editor-in-Chief of the African Journal of Rural Development and founder editor of the African Crop Science Journal; he has vast experience on African development issues and has worked closely with rural communities. He is the current Executive Secretary of RUFORUM, a network of 148 African Universities in 38 countries in Africa.
Dr. Paul Nampala, Editor
Dr. Paul Nampala is an alumnus of Makerere University, Imperial College of London (former Wye College), and the University of Liverpool with academic training in Crop Protection (majoring in Entomology and Crop Pest Ecology) and Public Health. Paul has engaged in managing grants with a research portfolio that covers multidisciplinary projects implemented by inter- and trans-disciplinary research teams with intense university engagement targeting the development and deployment of interventions at household levels in Africa. He also serves as Editor of the African Crop Science Journal.

Malcolm Blackie is an agricultural economist, former Dean Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zimbabwe and senior scientist Rockefeller Foundation based in Malawi. He has published extensively on successful smallholder farming and rural development and is currently a consultant with Bt-Associates.
Mark Erbaugh is a rural sociologist specializing in agricultural extension and rural development. He is also the Chair of the International Agriculture Section of the American Public and Land Grant Universities (APLU).
Judith Francis is a Senior Programme Coordinator, Science and Technology Policy at the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA) based in the Netherlands. Judith is a specialist in Food Science and Nutrition and is from Trinidad and Tobago.
Kay Muir-Leresche a retired Professor of Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics, University of Zimbabwe, is now a consultant specializing in capacity development, impact assessment, and agricultural, natural resources, and rural development policies.
Owuraku Sakyi-Dawson is a Professor at the Department of Agricultural Extension and Education, the University of Ghana Legon specializing in Agricultural Extension and Innovations.
Assogbadjo Achille Ephrem is a specialist in Conservation genetics, Forest ecology, and Ethnobotany at the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences, the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin. He is a member of the World Academy of Sciences. He is a co-author of 127 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals, contributor to 90 book chapters, and has published several papers in proceedings of scientific conferences.
